Jazz Events at The Corn Hall - Diss

One of our hidden local Jazz Spots

The Corn Hall, Diss is a new venue for us, one which we have quite taken to! The jazz events seem to draw a knowledgeable and friendly crowd, and the quality of the performances has been second to none.

We watched Chris Ingham's Music of Dudley Moore at Swaffham Jazz Club and were entranced. We then saw Chris's Trio with Alan Barnes at the Corn Hall and followed that up with another visit to see Chris and his trio playing Steely Jazz. Seeing that The Chris Ingham Trio (Chris Ingham, George Double, and Malcolm Creese) regularly appear at the Corn Hall is enough to warrant the Corn Hall a permanent place on this website.

When you visit The Corn Hall, be sure to thank the staff. Amazingly they are all volunteers - what a lovely bunch of people and what a great way to help your community, and live jazz!

I'm only including jazz events that are held at the Corn Hall; to find out about other events held here, check their website: What's On at The Corn Hall.

WarningThe Corn Hall no longer sells allocated seats, you buy your ticket and then it is 'first cone, first served'. Get there before 7pm if you want to bag a decent seat.
