Tuesdays 'till Two
Lunchtime Concerts – Classical, Jazz & more
St John’s CIC in Peterborough hosts its much-loved “Tuesdays Till Two” concert series, offering an inspiring mix of live music in the heart of the city.
The church opens at noon for coffee, tea, and a tempting selection of homemade cakes and savouries, with concerts beginning at 1:00pm and finishing around 1:45pm.
Performances span a wide range of genres, from classical and choral works to organ recitals, piano concerts, and the occasional jazz set.
While the programme is varied, I’m particularly drawn to the organ, piano, and jazz performances—so those are the ones you’ll see highlighted here.
