During the winter months, if your journey might take you through The Welney Wash (A1102), it’s a good idea to check if the road is open, as it is often closed due to flooding at this time of year.
Welney Flood Watch is a local Facebook group dedicated to providing regular updates during periods of flooding in the area.

Event Details

Upwell Jazz Club events take place at Christchurch Community Centre on select Sundays.
The music runs from 12:30 to 2:45 (encores allowing!), so plan to arrive by 12:15 to secure your seat and place your orders for drinks and snacks.

We offer a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, as well as tea, coffee, freshly prepared rolls, crisps, and other snacks. If you're lucky there may also be lovely local honey.
Don’t forget our raffle! Proceeds go directly towards supporting the talented artists who bring the music to life.

Admission is £15, under 16s are free.
We do not have card facilities, so please bring cash.

Bringing the kids?

There is no charge for Under 16's and Christchurch Community Centre has a superb play-park in the grounds of the centre, the play park is in full view of most of the seats within the seating area.

The play park and field are free to use and has a large grassed area, netball nets, goals, swings, various strnge climbing apparatus and even a skate park.
