Today the quintet features musicians from Norfolk and neighbouring counties, led by drummer Graeme Culham who is originally from Essex. He has played alongside the who’s who of the jazz world as well as fronting his own big bands and various outfits.

Simon Nelson from Norfolk is well established on the jazz scene and fronts his own successful band Dixie Mix who recently was chosen as a support band on the Rod Stewart UK tour.

Richard Exall long time member of the Chris Barber band including other jazz styles as diverse as The Pasadena Roof Orchestra and the Robin Jones King Salsa band.

Ryan Mc Caffrey is an up and coming young pianist who also plays some saxophone. He has been making a name for himself not only working with various bands but also fronting his own band Gong Fusion.

Jeremy Brown upon leaving the Royal Academy joined the Peter King Quartet & Julian Joseph Trio. He is currently professor of Electric & Acoustic Bass and regularly plays with the John Wilson Orchestra and the BBC Radio Big Band.

The Graham Cullham Quartet Recorded at Swaffham Jazz Club

A slightly different line-up to our Upwell Jazz Club gig but it should give you a good idea of what to expect!

On Sunday 29th June, the music runs from 12:30 to 2:45 (encores allowing!), so plan to arrive by 12:15 to secure your seat and place your orders for drinks and snacks.

We offer a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, as well as tea, coffee, freshly prepared rolls, crisps, and other snacks.

Don’t forget our raffle! Proceeds go directly towards supporting the talented artists who bring the music to life.

Admission is £15 on the door, under 16s are free.

This is a non-profit club, operated and staffed by volunteers, dedicated to serving jazz enthusiasts both locally and beyond.
